About
Measurement you can defend, in the browser
Rasch measurement turns test and survey responses into interval measures you can actually reason about — but the tools for it have lived in Windows-only, single-seat desktop software from another era. That software earned its place. Logit is a bet that the same rigor belongs in the browser, where anyone can reach it.
Logit calibrates item difficulties and person abilities onto one shared logit scale and gives you the full diagnostic picture: Wright maps, fit statistics, category structure, DIF screening, and publication-ready reports — no installation, no fixed-width control files.
The part that matters most is trust. Measures produced here end up in dissertations, validation studies, and real decisions, so every estimate is checked against published reference calibrations and independent engines, and those checks run on every change. You don’t have to take our word for it — see the validation dossier.
Logit is built by Nelson Love, an independent developer, out of a conviction that good measurement shouldn’t require an expensive license or a stats degree. New to Rasch? Start with Learn Rasch analysis.
